Husqvarna lawn mowers are well known for reliability and quality of manufacture. For larger lawns with uneven terrain the Husqvarna 5521CHV self propelled lawn mower is a good choice. It has six cutting positions, form 1.1" to 3" and a triple bagging system. The AutoWalk self propelling system is a front wheel drive system that allows the user to set the pace using a simple lever instead of having to push the mower around.
Starting is easy and the choke automatically shuts off. The AutoWalk system works extremely well and is very easy to use. It is controlled by a lever to alter the speed and is very smooth. Different grass types, inclines and rougher spots are easy to deal with by adjusting the cutting height to any of the six cutting positions. You do need to stop to do the adjustment or the mower may stall if you try to simply push through rough patches.
The bagging system is effective and simple to use and smoothly throws clippings into the bag. There is a mulching blade which works well. The bag and system for attachment could be a little sturdier however.
The Husqvarna 5521CHV has large back wheels that maneuvering easy and it copes with small inclines well. It is not so good on rough or hilly areas however and the engine struggles when mowing thick vegetation or very rough patches. It works well on the normal lawn areas that most people will be using it on however and the AutoWalk feature makes it suitable for people who may find pushing a lawn mower difficult.
Advantages
Easy to use, effective AutoWalk system, good range of cutting heights
Disadvantages
Not recommended for rougher lawns or hilly areas.
