The Snapper LT300 LT2044 is a front engine lawn tractor that is versatile and powerful although missing some of the features of Snapper's top of the range models. It is ideal for large areas of grass and performs well on uneven terrain and slopes while being comfortable to operate and and durable enough to last for many years of tough use.
The engine is a Briggs and Stratton 20 hp overhead valve engine with an automatic hydrostatic transmission. It is relatively quiet and the Automatic Controlled Traction is very efficient and works well to prevent the machine bogging down in mud or other low traction areas.
The frame is made from welded steel and the front axle which is pivoting and made from cast iron gives a comfortable ride on all terrains. The Snapper LT300 LT2044 is very comfortable to ride and the high backed seat with plenty of space for the legs and feet adds to the comfort. An effective cruise control and easy acceleration controlled by the foot also improve the level of comfort and ease of operation.
The cutting deck is a good sized 44" and can easily be removed for cleaning by removing a bolt and sliding the deck forward. It is also equipped with anti-scalp wheels. Most of the Snappers range of attachments cab be used with the Snapper LT300 LT2044 including a dethatcher, a snow thrower, baggers and leaf shredders make this a versatile machine although the attachments are expensive.
Overall a well built, comfortable lawn tractor that is durable and gives an excellent cut on all terrains.
