Remington PowerMower MPS6017A cordless electric lawn mower is good value for money and is environmentally friendly. The 60 volt battery supplies enough power for up to one hour and is easy start and very quiet. It is light and easy to maneuver. Large nine inch rear wheels give excellent traction and maneverability on uneven terrain.
The Remington PowerMower MPS6017A is the first electric lawn mower that can be used as a cordless mower or plugged in to the power outlet to be used corded. This allows you to mow the areas remote from a power outlet in the cordless mode then switch to the corded mode for closer areas. There is an inbuilt cord retainer to prevent disconnection of the cord accidentally while in use. There is also an option to boost the power by using a combination of the battery and the current from the outlet. This comes in very handy when tackling patches of dense weeds or taller grass. This option is easily selected with the power selector dial and gives as much power as a gas mower without the noise and fumes.
Comfort is enhanced by a padded handle grip and an eight position lever is used to easily adjust the cutting height of all the wheels from 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 inches. A bagging system is included and a mulch plug but a side discharge tube must be purchased as an added attachment.
Overall an excellent electric mower with the unique advantage of being both a cordless and a corded electric lawn mower with the power of a gas model.
