The Snapper Hi-Vac P217019BV is a gas powered self propelled lawn mower that has excellent reports for design and power. It has a commercial grade 7 hp Briggs and Stratton engine which will let any householder with a reasonably large lawn keep it neat and tidy with the minimum effort.

The design of this mower is excellent and every part is designed to make using it pleasurable. The self propelled operation is smooth and works well and it quickly takes care of a large area of lawn. There is a tough 21" deck made from Dura steel that will stand up to a lot of rough treatment. The ten inch rear wheels make maneuvering, even on uneven terrain, incredibly easy. Comfort is also improved by the foam grips on the handles and there is even a built in cup holder.

The cutting height can be easily varied from 1 1/4" to 4" and the mower has three configurations, side discharge, mulching or bagging. The Hi-vac system for bagging efficiently removes clippings and other debris from the lawn into the bag leaving your lawn clean. A 2 1/2 bushel bag is included and is very easy to remove and empty.

There are some things we dislike about the Snapper Hi-Vac P217019BV however. The high price is one and the weight is another. The weight of 91 lbs is rather high for a push mower, even a self propelled one, and makes it a little hard for any one who is small or physically challenged in any way to maneuver on inclines. It will also make it difficult if you have steps to and from your lawn. The Snapper's Hi-Vac P217019BV has very good power however and is one of the best lawn mowers we have reviewed and worth the higher price if it is within your budget.
